Sunday Bible Class: In two weeks, we will start a video Bible study on Martin Luther entitled “Reformation Grace, Faith, Scripture.”  It will include a segment from the new Luther movie with a study connected to it.  The first topic is “The Beginning: Baptism.”

End of an Era?  In February of 1880, the Ladies Aid Society of St. John’s was established.  In February of 1956 the Evening Circle was begun.  Over the years, attendance has dropped, where we are now down to 4 members, and seriously considering disbanding.  Is this your wish?  If not, then join us at our next meeting on Monday, November 13 at 1:30 p.m.  If it is, our last gathering will be to pack the Christmas boxes for the shut-ins in December.

Gluten-Free: If anyone needs gluten-free communion wafers, contact the pastor.

Baptism: After the service today, Cooper John Stefanski, son of Bradley and Kayla Stefanski will be made part of God’s family by the sacrament of Holy Baptism. He is also the grandson of Tom and Julie Ridgeman.  “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.”

Admissions Discovery Day: High school students and their parents are invited to Wisconsin Lutheran College for Discovery Day on October 27. Tour the campus, meet professors and coaches, and enjoy a complimentary lunch. Register at wlc.edu/visit or call 414-443-8609 for more information.
