Tuck Pointing has been finished on the church. If you would like to contribute to this project, mark it on the building fund envelope. The furnace has been paid off.  Yay!.

Quarterly Meeting will be November 3 after the service.

Welcome Home will be next week.  It will be a special service to Welcome Home all our members.  The Sunday School will sing.  There will a fellowship hour after the service.  There is a sign-up sheet to bring items for the fellowship hour in the cry room.

“Reformation 502” will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeside Lutheran High School’s “Old” Gymnasium.   Guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Joel Pless of Wisconsin Lutheran College.  There will be a    Children’s Choir, Lakeside A Cappella Choir,     Lakeside Warrior Band, and area choir and instruments.

New Friends and Lakeside Lutheran Teens for Christ invite students and adults with special needs to campus, giving them a place to hang out and develop friendships. LLHS students, along with our new friends, participate in a variety of activities, including games, crafts, snacks, and music. Our next gathering is Sunday, October 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the west gym at Lakeside. Pre-registration is not needed, but if you know of anyone with special needs who might be interested in attending, or have any questions, please contact Mrs. Ruth Hirschfeld at rhirschf@llhs.org.

“ENGAGE!” at CLR’s National Convention:  On Saturday, Oct. 19, join Christian Life Resources from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, 3399 Division Road, Jackson, WI for our annual National Convention. “ENGAGE!” will help you learn the tools to share your faith with others – in words and in truth. It will provide a practical approach to not only talk with others in a casual, practical, and confident manner about the Good News of Christ, but help to live your faith in thankful actions.
